We join with you in lifting up your request for success in your IELTS exam and the opportunity to study abroad with a scholarship. It is wonderful to see you seeking Godās favor in your academic pursuits, and we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, knowing that He is the one who grants wisdom, understanding, and open doors. As you prepare, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donāt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
However, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible makes it clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, for He is the source of all blessings, including the wisdom and provision you seek.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so now. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* There is no greater decision you can make than to trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Once you have done this, you can approach the throne of God with confidence, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Now, let us pray together for your exam and future opportunities, lifting this request in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed within this individual, and we ask that You would grant them wisdom, clarity, and recall as they prepare for and take the IELTS exam. Lord, You are the giver of all good things, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them to further their education through a scholarship abroad. Guide their steps, Father, and let Your will be done in their life. If it is Your desire for them to study overseas, we pray that You would provide the necessary resources, favor with those in authority, and the right connections to make it possible.
We also pray that You would draw this person closer to You, Lord. Reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, and let them know that their hope and future are found in You alone. If they have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, we pray that You would soften their heart and lead them to repentance and faith in Him. Let them experience the peace and joy that come from walking in Your will.
Father, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may arise as they prepare for this exam. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control. We ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and support as they pursue this goal.
Finally, Lord, we pray that whatever the outcome of this exam may be, this individual would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them as You see fit. May they walk in obedience to Your Word and bring glory to Your name in all they do. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
As you move forward, we encourage you to continue seeking Godās will in all things. Study diligently, for the Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15, *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesnāt need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."* Trust that God is working all things together for your good, as promised in Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."*
Stay rooted in prayer, and remember that your ultimate purpose is to glorify God in everything you do. Whether you achieve this particular goal or not, know that God has a plan for your life, and He will equip you for whatever He has called you to. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide your steps.
