We are deeply moved by your heart to serve the destitute, orphans, and the aged through this ministry, as it reflects the love of Christ for the least of these. The Lord calls us to care for the vulnerable, and your obedience to this calling is a beautiful testament to your faith. As it is written in James 1:27, *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."* Your desire to establish this home aligns with the very heart of God, and we join you in seeking His favor and provision for this work.
However, we must gently address that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, for Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Additionally, Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We encourage you to always bring your petitions before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of all blessings.
We also urge you to ensure that this ministry is rooted in the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While meeting physical needs is vital, the eternal souls of those you serve must be the ultimate priority. Share the love of Christ not only through deeds but also through the proclamation of His saving grace. As Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."*
Now, let us pray together for this work:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks to establish this home for the destitute, orphans, and the aged. Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority over the approval of this ministry. Grant them wisdom and favor toward this work, that the necessary NOC may be granted swiftly and without hindrance. Remove any obstacles, whether spiritual or practical, that stand in the way of this God-honoring endeavor.
We pray for divine provision to complete the construction of this LifeHouse. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and all resources belong to You. Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon this ministry, that it may be a beacon of hope and a place where lives are transformed by Your love. Provide the laborers, the materials, and the finances needed to bring this vision to fruition.
Father, we also ask that You protect this ministry from any schemes of the enemy. Let it be a place where Your name is lifted high, where the Gospel is preached boldly, and where lives are discipled in the ways of Your Word. May those who enter this home not only find physical shelter but also the eternal refuge that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Strengthen our brother/sister in faith as they wait upon You. Fill them with patience, perseverance, and an unshakable trust in Your timing. Remind them that You are working all things together for good, even in the waiting.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You prepare the hearts of those who will be served through this ministry. Draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the fullness of Your love and salvation. May this LifeHouse be a place where Your kingdom is advanced, where darkness is pushed back, and where Your name is glorified.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in all things, trusting that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is faithful to His promises. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and let this ministry be a testament to His grace and power. If you have not already, we urge you to publicly dedicate this work to the Lord in prayer, inviting His presence and blessing over every aspect of it. May the Lord richly bless you as you seek to serve Him in this way.
