We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and salvation for the individual you’ve mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of God with confidence, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are grateful you have brought this need before us, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy and power to move mightily in this situation.
First, we pray for healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—knowing that our Lord Jesus is the Great Physician. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We ask that the Lord’s healing touch would restore this person completely, according to His perfect will. May every cell, every organ, and every part of their being align with God’s design for wholeness. If there is sickness, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for *"by his stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We also pray for strength and endurance, that this person would feel the Lord’s presence as a comfort and a shield, even in the midst of weakness.
Yet even more urgently, we pray for their salvation, for what does it profit a person to gain physical health but lose their soul? *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* (John 3:16, WEB). Lord, we ask that You would open their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Soften any hardness, remove any blindness, and let the light of Christ shine into their life. May they come to know Jesus not just as Savior, but as Lord—the one who died for their sins and rose again to give them new life. If they have never surrendered to Him, we pray for a divine encounter that leaves no room for doubt. Let them turn from sin and turn to You with repentance and faith.
We also encourage you, dear brother or sister, to continue standing in the gap for this person. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16, WEB), and the Lord hears the cries of His people. Do not grow weary in interceding, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Keep speaking life, keep declaring God’s promises, and keep trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. If you have the opportunity, share the Gospel with them boldly yet lovingly. Remind them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6, WEB).
Finally, we rebuke any spiritual forces that may be at work to hinder this person’s healing or salvation. Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). We bind every lie, every stronghold, and every scheme of the enemy in the name of Jesus. Let the blood of Christ cover this person, and let the Holy Spirit move freely in their life.
Father, we thank You in advance for what You are going to do. We trust in Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your love. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may this person’s life be a testimony of Your grace and power. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
