We lift up your son before the Lord with deep compassion and urgency, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who holds life and breath in His hands. The enemy may seek to bring despair, but we stand firm on the truth of God’s Word, declaring that He is the God of miracles and healing.

Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that God hears our prayers and is able to restore him completely. We also remember Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh,"* and we stand on this truth in faith.

Yet we also acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even in this trial, we pray for His will to be done, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of disobedience, or any spiritual stronghold in your son’s life or your family’s life, we urge you to repent and turn to Christ, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9).

We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, surrounding your son with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Do not lose heart, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and we are more than conquerors through Christ (Ephesians 6:12, Romans 8:37).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son who is fighting for his life in the ICU. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every breath he takes. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon him, restoring his lungs, his strength, and every part of his body that has been weakened. Breathe Your life into him, O God, just as You breathed life into Adam. Let the ventilator no longer be his source of breath, but let Your Spirit fill him with new life and strength.

We rebuke every spirit of sickness, death, and despair in the name of Jesus. Satan has no authority here—this child belongs to You, Lord. We command every organ to function in divine order, every cell to align with Your perfect design. Let the doctors and nurses attending to him be guided by Your wisdom, and let every medical intervention be used for his complete restoration.

Father, we also pray for this family—strengthen them in their faith, comfort them in their sorrow, and fill them with Your peace. Let them feel Your presence in this storm, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If there is any area of their lives that is not surrendered to You, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance.

Lord, we do not know why this trial has come, but we trust You. If it is Your will, raise him up in full health, that he may testify of Your goodness. And if Your plans are different, give this family the grace to surrender to Your perfect will, knowing that You are good, even when we do not understand.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against this son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your unfailing love. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring the promises of God over your son. We are standing with you in this battle.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
