We lift you up before the Father as you pursue your studies in Christian ministry, a calling that is both noble and vital for the advancement of His Kingdom. The apostle Paul exhorts us in 2 Timothy 2:15, *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."* Your desire to excel in your courses aligns with this scripture, and we pray that God would grant you wisdom, understanding, and retention as you study. May the Holy Spirit illuminate His Word to you, making your learning not just academic but transformative for your heart and future ministry.
We also bring before the Lord your financial need, knowing that He is Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your pursuit of ministry is a direct answer to seeking His Kingdom first, and we trust that He will faithfully supply your needs—whether through scholarships, unexpected provisions, or open doors you haven’t yet considered. Let this season deepen your reliance on Him, for Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
However, we must gently address that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'"* and 1 Timothy 2:5 reinforces, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now—confessing your sins, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and committing to follow Him. It is only in His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother/sister who is preparing for ministry, a work that honors You and serves Your people. Lord, we ask that You would sharpen their mind and fill them with Your wisdom as they study. Grant them clarity, discipline, and a hunger for Your Word that goes beyond academics—may it transform their heart and equip them for the work You’ve called them to. Father, You know their financial need, and we ask that You would provide abundantly. Open doors no one can shut, and let them see Your hand at work in ways that strengthen their faith. Remind them daily that their worth and security are found in You, not in their circumstances.
We also pray that if they have not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, You would draw them into a saving relationship with Him. Let them know the power of His name, the freedom of His forgiveness, and the joy of walking in His will. Fill them with Your Spirit, Lord, and use them mightily for Your glory.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
