We join you in lifting your heart before the Lord, seeking His perfect will for your life. It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true direction. As Scripture reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Your desire to be led by Almighty God is a reflection of a humble and surrendered heart, and we commend you for seeking His will above your own. The Lord promises to guide those who earnestly seek Him: *"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you"* (Psalm 32:8, WEB). He is faithful to lead us when we place our trust in Him, and He will never leave us without direction.
Yet, we must also remember that walking in God’s will requires obedience to His Word. Jesus said, *"If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God"* (John 7:17, WEB). As you seek His guidance, spend time in Scripture, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with godly counsel. The Lord often speaks through His Word, the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and the wisdom of mature believers.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no unconfessed sin that could hinder your ability to hear His voice. *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened. But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer"* (Psalm 66:18-19, WEB). Repentance and a clean heart before God open the way for His clear direction.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who seeks Your will. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leads His sheep beside still waters and restores their souls. We ask that You would guide this beloved one with Your wisdom, clarity, and peace. Remove any confusion, doubt, or distraction that the enemy may place in their path. Open their eyes to see Your hand at work, their ears to hear Your voice, and their heart to receive Your truth.
Father, if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word, we pray for conviction and repentance. Help them to walk in obedience, knowing that Your commands are for their good and Your glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are not a God of disorder but of peace.
We declare that Your will is perfect, pleasing, and good (Romans 12:2), and we trust that You will lead them into the plans You have prepared for them. May they walk in confidence, knowing that You go before them and are with them always. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. Continue to seek Him daily, and He will make your path clear. *"The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand"* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is leading you every step of the way.
