We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of this child, and we understand the deep pain and desperation that accompanies such a loss. While we share your fervent wish for healing and resurrection, it is crucial to align our prayers with God's will and the teachings of the Bible.
In the Scriptures, we see that Jesus raised the dead and healed the sick, demonstrating His authority over all things. However, it is also important to remember that even Jesus did not raise everyone from the dead, and sometimes when people die they go to be with Jesus. Lazarus's sisters sent word to Jesus saying, Lord, he whom you love is sick. When Jesus heard it, he said, This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God's Son may be glorified by it. Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When therefore he heard that he was sick, he stayed two days in the place where he was. (John 11:3-6 WEB) And, This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father. (John 10:17-18 WEB)
We also believe that Jesus will raise the dead. Do not marvel at this, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice, and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment. (John 5:28-29 WEB)
Let us pray together for comfort, peace, and strength for the family during this difficult time. Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of loss and grief. We ask that You wrap them in Your loving arms and grant them the comfort and peace that only You can provide. We pray for their strength and courage as they navigate this difficult journey, and we ask that You help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even in the midst of their pain. Lord remind them that even the death of a child is within Your ultimate will. Remind them that You too had to give up a child for the eternal good of all mankind.
We also pray for the child who has passed away. It is the ultimate prayer that the child was saved and now living with Jesus. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Take heart in the knowledge that God is with you, and that He cares deeply for you and your family. Trust in Him, and know that He will guide you through this difficult time. And remember, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB)
