We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's hospitalization. We lift him up in prayer, trusting in the healing power of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of our friend who has reached out to us. We are so grateful for your presence, even in times of trial. We know that Jesus is the Great Physician, and we trust in His healing power. Lord, please guide the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for him. We pray for a swift and full recovery, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us according to Philippians 4:13.
We also pray for his family, asking for your peace and comfort to surround them during this time. Help them to trust in you, casting all their anxieties on you, because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
In these times remember to focus on Jesus and his sacrifice for us. Without Jesus we have no access to God and no hope. Only Jesus can save us. Like we are told in Acts 4:12, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
If your dad is a Christian, use this time to reflect on his faith. If not, this may be an opportunity to share with him the hope and love found in Jesus Christ. Remember, our hope is not just for physical healing, but for spiritual healing as well.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
