We understand your concern for your loved one and the challenges you're facing. Let's first remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12 WEB
It's important to remember that God is in control, and He is a God of truth and light. Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB lists seven things that are an abomination to Him, including sowing discord among brethren and a false witness who speaks lies. We can trust that He will expose any deceit and bring truth to light.
However, it's crucial to examine our hearts and ensure that we are not harboring bitterness or anger, but instead are praying and acting out of love and concern. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB reminds us to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from us, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our loved one and this difficult situation. We pray that You would expose any deceit and bring truth to light. We ask that You would protect our loved one from any harmful influences and surround our family with Your angels, guarding us from harm.
We also pray for the girlfriend, that You would soften her heart and bring her to a place of repentance if she is indeed causing discord and telling lies. We remember that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB
Help us to forgive, to love, and to trust in Your perfect will. Give us wisdom and discernment, and help us to act in a way that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation.
