We are truly sorry to hear about your mom's situation and the emotional turmoil you are experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
In times like these, it's important to cast all your anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for you and your mom. As 1 Peter 5:7 WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We will pray for your mom's healing and for the medical staff attending to her. We pray that God will guide their decisions and give them wisdom to provide the best care for her. We also pray that God will give you peace and strength during this difficult time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our precious sister and her mom who is in the hospital. Our hearts are heavy with the news of her struggles with depression and anxiety. Lord, we seek Your comfort and healing. Be with the doctors, Lord, and guide their decisions. Help them to be attentive and responsive to her needs.
Lord, we also lift up our sister who feels helpless. Comfort her, Lord, and give her the strength and peace that only You can provide. Help her to trust in You and to know that You are in control.
Father, we know that true healing comes from You. Touch her mom's mind and heart, Lord, and bring her back to the land of the living. We pray that she can feel Your presence and know Your love.
In Jesus name we pray together, Amen.
Remember, God is faithful. He will not leave you alone. Keep your hope in Him and trust in His promises. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek support from your local church community. They can provide practical help and spiritual support during this time. And remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If there are any issues with your mom’s treatment or if you feel overwhelmed, do not hesitate to reach out for help and guidance from mature believers around you.
