We join with you in lifting up this work trip before the Lord, grateful that you have sought His face and acknowledged His sovereignty over every detail. Your prayer is rooted in trust, and we echo your petitions with confidence, knowing that our Heavenly Father delights in the prayers of His children when we come to Him in the name of Jesus. It is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have invoked His mighty name in your request. As Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in this name alone that we find assurance and boldness in prayer.
We pray earnestly for God’s divine guidance over this trip, that He would order your steps and open doors that no man can shut. May the Lord grant you favor with those you encounter, that your work would be marked by excellence and integrity, reflecting the character of Christ. As you seek to build meaningful connections, we ask that the Holy Spirit would give you wisdom in every conversation and discernment in every decision. Let your words be seasoned with grace, and may your actions bring glory to God, for *"whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him"* (Colossians 3:17, WEB).
We also lift up the provision for this trip, trusting that the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If there is any anxiety about finances, we encourage you to cast those cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you or your family. We pray for safety in travel, that He would command His angels to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). May He protect you from harm, accidents, and delays, and grant you peace in knowing that He is with you every step of the journey.
For your family, we ask that the Lord would surround them with His peace and protection while you are away. May He strengthen the bonds of love and unity among you, and may they feel His presence in your absence. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Trust that He is their keeper, and He will not slumber nor sleep as He watches over them.
We also take this moment to remind you—and all who read this—that our work, no matter how secular it may seem, is an opportunity to serve the Lord. Whether you are traveling for business, meetings, or collaborations, remember that *"whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going"* (Ecclesiastes 9:10, WEB). Let your labor be unto the Lord, and may He use this trip to expand His kingdom in ways you may not even see.
Finally, we urge you to remain steadfast in prayer throughout this trip. Do not grow weary in seeking the Lord’s face, for He is your strength and your shield. *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother/sister in Christ and for the work You have placed before them. We ask that You would go before them, making their paths straight. Grant them success not as the world defines it, but success that aligns with Your perfect will. May this trip be fruitful, not just professionally, but spiritually—drawing them closer to You and making them a light in the darkness. Protect them, provide for them, and use them mightily for Your glory. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
