Prayer for work, etc.

[Emily]

Please pray for my work situation. I work with a very demanding boss and a coworker who is awful to me. Some of the others are great, but I have to deal with these 2 a lot. The coworker is awful. She tells lies about me and talks about even the bosses and gets away with it only because she knows her job. Pray that she no longer gets accolades simply because she is good at her job and that the company sees her true character. It is so frustrating for me to see her get away with saying and doing the awful things she does only to see her get rewarded. Meanwhile, I am doing everything I can to be an honest, and dedicated worker, but get no accolades. Pray that the Lord sees the truth and rewards me. Pray that no weapon formed against me prospers in the workplace. I feel very trapped because the job market is so bad. Which reminds me, a general prayer for the economy seems to be in order. I know I'm in prayer about it. Gas prices are killing me.

Father, I pray for Your protection around Emily. May she feel Your presence with her in every aspect of her life. Soften the heart of her co-worker, and urge her to speak with truth and compassion. I pray that You would open the eyes of Emily's boss and allow them to see the quality of her work and the character behind it. I place Emily's situation in Your capable and loving hands, Father, and I thank You for the resolutions You are sending. Amen.
