We are glad to join you in prayer for your work and provision needs. Firstly, it's wonderful to see that you are trusting God for guidance and provision. Let's remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we notice that Jesus is not specifically mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, we pray that you would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if you have not already, and that you would trust in His name for all your needs.
Now, let's pray for your situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your guidance and provision for work. We ask that You would give them the strength and endurance needed to carry out their current work, and that You would open doors for a new job that aligns with Your will for their life.
We pray against any anxiety or fear they may be feeling, and ask that You would replace it with Your perfect peace, as You have promised in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray that this situation would be an opportunity for them to draw closer to You, to grow in their faith, and to experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Remember, too, that God is our provider and He knows our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Keep trusting in God, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
