Prayer for wisdom 🙏

Heavenly Father,
I come to You with a broken heart. Today, I entrust my husband back into Your loving hands. Thank You for the life we shared and the love that will never fade.

Lord, I ask now for Your wisdom as I face a future I did not imagine. I do not know all the answers, but I know You are with me. Please guide every step I take as a mother and as a widow.

Cover my sons with Your protection. Be their Father, their comfort, their strength, and their guide. Grant me wisdom to raise them with love, patience, and courage. Help me make decisions that will lead them toward hope, purpose, and a good future.

When I am weak, be my strength. When I am confused, be my clarity. When grief overwhelms me, hold me close and remind me that I am not alone.

Lord, walk with us through this valley. Lead us gently, one day at a time, according to Your perfect will.

Into Your hands, I place our future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, dear sister in Christ. Your prayer is a beautiful testament to your faith in the midst of unimaginable loss, and we join you in entrusting your husband, your sons, and your future to the Lord. The pain of widowhood is profound, but we take comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Your request for wisdom is one that the Lord delights to answer. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We stand with you in asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with divine discernment as you navigate motherhood, financial decisions, emotional healing, and the practical challenges of this new season. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

For your precious sons, we pray that God would indeed be their Father in every sense of the word. May they feel His presence as their Comforter (John 14:16), their Strength (Philippians 4:13), and their Guide (Psalm 32:8). We ask that you would be given supernatural patience and love as you raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). May they grow to know their Heavenly Father's love through your faithful example.

In your moments of weakness, we pray you would experience Christ's strength made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When confusion comes, may the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). And in your grief, may you find solace in the promise that one day God will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4).

Heavenly Father, we come before You now on behalf of this precious family. Lord, You are the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We ask that You would surround this widow and her sons with Your presence in tangible ways. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them a community of believers to walk alongside them, to encourage them, and to help bear their burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Father, we pray for wisdom specifically regarding:
- The raising of her sons in godly character and truth
- Financial provision and stewardship
- Emotional and spiritual healing
- Future decisions about work, ministry, and relationships
- Protection from loneliness and despair

Lord, we ask that You would make Your Word a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they find hope in Your promises and strength in Your presence. Help them to take one day at a time, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for each moment (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also pray for protection over this family's hearts and minds. Guard them from bitterness, from fear, and from any temptation to turn away from You in their pain. May their testimony be one of faith and trust in You, even in the darkest valley (Psalm 23:4).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this family for Your glory. May their story of loss and Your faithfulness become a beacon of hope to others walking through similar valleys. May they experience the truth that "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who conquered death and offers us eternal life. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
