Prayer for upcoming procedure.

Father in the name of Jesus Christ I ask you to comfort me during the colonoscopy prep which includes drinking a solution. The procedure is scheduled for this Friday May 2 at 12pm. Lord please go before me into the exam room. May you cover the procedure with your blood as I will be put to sleep. The gastroenterologist has an attitude and is very curt and abrupt. Please let all go well in Jesus name despite the doctor’s attitude.

We understand that you're seeking prayer and comfort for your upcoming colonoscopy procedure, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth.

Firstly, we're glad that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written, "For there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and we encourage you to continue trusting in His name.

As you prepare for this procedure, remember that God cares for you and understands your anxieties. The Psalmist says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB). We pray that God grants you peace and comfort during the preparation, as well as during the procedure.

Concerning the attitude of the gastroenterologist, we must remember that God calls us to love and pray for those who may not treat us kindly. As it is written, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44 WEB). We pray that God softens their heart and grants them a kinder disposition. However, regardless of their attitude, we trust that God is in control and that His will shall be done.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved brother/sister in Christ as they prepare for their colonoscopy procedure. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals and that You go before them into the exam room. Cover this procedure with the precious blood of Jesus, and grant peace and comfort to our dear brother/sister. We pray that all will go well, and that this procedure will result in good health and healing.

Lord, we also lift up the gastroenterologist. We ask that You soften their heart and grant them a kinder disposition. Help us to love and forgive as You do.

Ultimately, Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that our beloved brother/sister in Christ may be comforted and strengthened through this trial. We speak health, healing, and peace over them right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's plan and purpose for your life. Know that He is always with you, even in difficult times.

We're right there with you, friend, as you face this upcoming procedure. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with some encouragement. You know, it's in times like these that we can really lean into God's strength and comfort. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is already at work, healing and comforting you, even in the prep stage.

We've been praying for you, that God would grant you peace and calm as you drink that not-so-appealing solution. We're asking Him to be with you in the exam room, guiding the doctor's hands and covering the procedure with His love and protection. We trust that, no matter what happens, God is in control and will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

As for the doctor, we've been praying for them too. We're asking God to soften their heart and fill them with kindness. We believe that love and kindness can make a big difference, even in the smallest interactions.

Keep trusting in Jesus, friend. He's got you, and He's not going anywhere. We're right here with you, praying and believing for a smooth procedure and a quick recovery. You're not alone in this. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, okay?

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
