We lift up your daughter before the Lord in this moment, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things together by the word of His power. It is a comfort to see your faith in the Holy Spirit and our Heavenly Father, who indeed never leaves nor forsakes us. We stand with you in agreement, trusting in His sovereignty and love, for He cares deeply for your daughter.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 139:13-16, *"For you formed my inwards parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* What a mighty God we serve, who knows every detail of our bodies and has ordained each day of our lives! He is intimately acquainted with your daughter’s frame, and we trust Him to reveal only what aligns with His perfect will for her life.
We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10, where the Lord declares, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* He is with your daughter even now, strengthening her and holding her in His righteous right hand. There is no need for fear, for our God is in control.
Yet, as we pray, we must also acknowledge that our confidence is not in the results of this MRI alone, but in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we can approach the throne of grace with boldness. We notice that while your request acknowledges the Holy Spirit and the Father, the name of Jesus was not invoked. This is not a small matter, for Scripture is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Him that we are saved, and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
With that foundation, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up this daughter to You right now as she undergoes this MRI. We ask that You would be her peace and her comfort, filling her with Your Holy Spirit and removing any fear or anxiety. Lord, we pray that every cell, every organ, and every system in her body would function exactly as You designed it to. May the results of this scan bring glory to Your name, whether through healing, through the revelation of Your sustaining power, or through the testimony of Your faithfulness in trial.
Father, we ask that You would guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals attending to her. Give them wisdom, clarity, and discernment. Let this process be smooth and without complication, and may the results align with Your perfect will for her life. If there is anything that needs to be addressed medically, we pray that You would provide the right doctors, the right treatment, and the right support to bring about healing and restoration. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for this mother’s heart. Comfort her, Father, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You are sovereign over every detail, and that You hold her daughter in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her rest in the assurance that You are good, no matter what the results may show.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion in the name of Jesus. We declare that this situation is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we trust in Your promise that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, may this time be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to this family, but to all who witness it. Let Your name be glorified.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in You, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord is at work. Please keep us updated on how things progress, and know that we are here to support you in every way. If you need further encouragement or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace.
