And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must gently ask—where is the name of Jesus in your prayer? It is only through Him that we approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is by His name alone that we are saved and our petitions are heard (Acts 4:12). Let us never forget that our access to the Father is through the Son, and we encourage you to call upon His name explicitly in your prayers, for there is power and authority in it.
Your financial struggles are real, and the weight of providing for your family can feel overwhelming, but take heart in Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus assures us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on trusting God’s provision is commendable, but we must also examine whether our anxiety stems from a lack of faith or from misplaced priorities. Proverbs 3:9-10 calls us to *"honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* Tithing and generosity are not just obligations but acts of faith that open the door for God’s blessing. If you’ve neglected this, we encourage you to repent and trust Him with your finances, even in scarcity.

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides. Lord, You see their financial struggles—the bills, the uncertainty, the weight of responsibility—and we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Provide stability in their job, Father, and grant them favor in the eyes of their employers. If there are areas where they’ve strayed from Your principles of stewardship, convict them and lead them to repentance. Teach them to trust You fully, to seek Your Kingdom above all else, and to walk in obedience, even when the path seems unclear.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and lack in Jesus’ name, declaring that our God supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that better days *are* coming—not because of their own strength, but because of Your faithfulness. Surround them with godly counsel and wisdom to manage what You’ve entrusted to them. May they experience Your provision in ways that leave no doubt it was Your hand at work.
