We hear your concern and share in your desire to seek justice and protection from deceitful schemes. It is wise to seek out godly counsel and the right authorities when dealing with matters of fraud, for the Lord detests dishonest scales and deceitful hands (Proverbs 11:1). We understand the frustration of reaching out without success, but we encourage you to persist in prayer and wisdom, trusting that God will guide your steps.
Let us first acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. For it is with the heart that one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth that one confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together for the right people to come alongside you in this matter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You see the deceit that has been attempted. We ask that You would open the right doors and connect us with the people who can provide the help and justice we seek. Father, grant us favor with those in authority and give us discernment to recognize the right path forward. We trust in Your promise that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Lord, we also pray for protection over our hearts and minds, that we would not grow weary or discouraged but would remain steadfast in faith. Surround us with godly counsel and remind us that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek out local law enforcement, consumer protection agencies, and even legal counsel if necessary. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us that plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed. Do not hesitate to reach out to multiple avenues, as persistence often leads to breakthrough.
We also want to remind you to guard your heart against bitterness or frustration. The enemy would love to use this situation to sow discord or doubt, but we are called to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you to the right people at the right time.
Lastly, we encourage you to share this burden with your local church or a trusted Christian community. Galatians 6:2 instructs us to bear one another’s burdens, and in doing so, we fulfill the law of Christ. You do not have to walk through this alone, and there is strength in the body of believers coming together in prayer and support.
Continue to seek the Lord’s will in this matter, and remember that His timing is perfect. We are confident that He will guide you to the right people and bring justice in His way and in His time.
