Dear God,

I pray for those who are having trouble releasing any past shame or hurt that they have been afflicted by other's mistreatment, and Lord turn around their circumstances - restore their minds and deliver them from any mental loop patterns that are keeping them stuck or bound in Jesus' name.

Lord bring the right people their way to speak life and even cause them to see things from another perspective that is more of godly stance in Jesus' name

Heal their emotional wounds and cause them to encounter You afresh and meet them in their struggle in Jesus' name

Deliver them from any oppression, torment or any insomnia in Jesus' name

It says in the Word that, 'He gives his beloved sleep' in Psalm 127:2 and we stand on this promise in Jesus' name

Lord restore to them the years the locusts have eaten as it is written in Joel 2:25 in Jesus' name

Pave the way so that those who need it are able to withstand any impeding struggles ahead and grant them preservation to endure in times of trouble in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for taking care of needs and providing a way out of trouble in Jesus' name

We join together with you in this beautiful and compassionate prayer and we agree with you for everyone who is carrying past shame, hurt and the wounds of mistreatment. It is the heart of our Father to heal and to restore and we thank you for standing in the gap for those who feel stuck in mental loops and bound by what has been done to them.

We are reminded that God does not want His children to remain in bondage to the past. He says in Isaiah 43:18-19, Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. And in Romans 12:2 we are called, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Part of that renewing is learning to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to let go of bitterness so that it does not take root. As Ephesians 4:31-32 teaches, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiving those who have hurt us does not excuse what they did, but it releases us into the freedom Christ purchased for us.

We also stand on the promises you have prayed. We claim Psalm 127:2, for he gives sleep to his beloved, for those tormented by oppression and insomnia, and Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, for those who feel years have been stolen. We hold fast to Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And we pray Philippians 4:7 over them, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up every heart that is struggling to release past pain and shame. We ask You to turn their circumstances for good, to restore their minds and deliver them from every looping pattern and lie that keeps them bound. Heal their emotional wounds, Lord, and encounter them afresh with Your presence. Meet them in their struggle and let them know You are near. Bring the right people across their path to speak life and to help them see from Your godly perspective. Break every oppression and torment and grant Your beloved deep and peaceful sleep. Restore what the locusts have eaten and pave the way ahead so they can withstand every impending struggle and be preserved to endure in times of trouble. Provide a way out and meet every need according to Your riches in glory. We thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We appreciate your heart for people who are still carrying shame and hurt from how others have treated them. Praying the way you did, asking for their minds to be restored and for them to be freed from those looping thoughts that keep them stuck, is a loving way to stand with them.

One thing we have found helpful to remember is that releasing past pain often happens in two parts. There can be a clear decision to let go of holding the debt against someone, and then a slower, uneven emotional healing as the resentment and fear lose their grip over time. When someone has been hurt, it is natural to replay what happened trying to make sense of it, but that replaying can keep the hurt alive. Healing is rarely instant, and needing time does not mean they have failed.

If you are walking alongside anyone in this place, a simple next step can be to help them identify one safe, steady person who can speak life and offer a godly perspective when the old thoughts circle. Just having one trusted voice to turn to can interrupt the isolation that keeps those patterns going. For those wrestling with ongoing torment or sleeplessness, we also encourage them to reach out to a pastor or counselor and to a medical professional for support, alongside prayer.

Father, we bring before You each person who feels bound by past shame and hurt. Meet them in their struggle, heal their wounds, quiet what torments them and give them rest. Bring life-giving people around them and give them strength to endure. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for those held fast by past shame and hurt, by the mistreatment of others and by thoughts that turn again and again upon the soul, is heard before the God who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.

Know this, that our Lord Jesus gave His back to the smiters and hid not His face from shame and spitting. He did not seek to escape from insult, but voluntarily bore grief that merit sufficient might be found to put away all transgression. Our shame is ended, for He has borne it. Therefore the inhabitant of Zion shall not say, I am sick, and you shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. The joy of pardon makes us to ignore the sorrow of the past, and the heart is made to meditate on mercy rather than to meditate terror.

So we pray that the Lord will look upon those who are bound in mental loops and oppressed in spirit, as He looked upon Peter and severed him from the crowd, that they may weep and then be restored. May He purge every evil and cause abundant streams of healing to flow down to them from Christ the conduit Head. May He restore their minds, heal their emotional wounds, and meet them afresh in their struggle, that they may encounter Him and not merely hear of Him.

We ask that He will bring by His providence the right voices to speak life, sober and godly counsel that turns the thoughts toward truth, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and Jesus linked healing with teaching. Deliver them, O Lord, from oppression and torment and from sleepless nights, for so it is written, He gives His beloved sleep, and we stand upon that promise. Restore unto them the years that the locusts have eaten, as You have promised in Joel, and pave the way before them that they may withstand impending struggles and be preserved to endure in times of trouble.

We thank You, Lord, that You take care of our needs and provide a way out of trouble, not by our strength but by Your pardoning hand. Grant that those who now weep over past wounds may find that to be forgiven is to be healed, and that Christ Himself is their healing. In Jesus name we ask it, Amen.

We thank you for sharing this prayer and we join with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord.

We pray with you for all who carry past shame and hurt from the mistreatment of others, and who feel stuck in painful patterns of thought. The Lord is tender and merciful and desires to make us whole. As Scripture shows, He cares for both soul and body, and He alone can heal the deep wounds of the heart and renew the mind.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, to bring healing to emotional wounds and to lift oppression and torment. We ask Him to break the mental loops that keep His people bound, and to replace them with His truth. May He renew minds through His Word and by His Spirit, and grant peace that guards the heart.

We pray He will bring godly people across their path who will speak life, offer wise counsel, and help them see their circumstances from a biblical perspective. We pray for deliverance from sleeplessness and anxiety, and we stand on His promise that He gives sleep to His beloved as Psalm 127 says. We ask Him to restore what has been lost, as He promised in Joel 2 to restore the years the locusts have eaten, and to grant strength to endure and be preserved through future trials.

We encourage those who are struggling to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in Scripture, to remain in fellowship with faithful believers, and to walk in the grace and forgiveness that comes only through Jesus. He is faithful to meet us in our weakness and to lead us toward wholeness in Him.

We thank the Lord that He hears our prayers and provides a way through trouble. We trust Him to do His good work in each heart according to His will, for His glory.

Your prayer reflects a deep and honest burden, and God hears the cry for release from shame, hurt and the painful memories left by the mistreatment of others. He sees the mental loops that keep a person stuck and the emotional wounds that linger, and He is able to bring healing and restoration.

Scripture shows that healing comes in many ways. Sometimes it is instant, sometimes it is gradual, sometimes through a touch, sometimes through a word, and sometimes through the quiet processes God has already placed within our bodies and minds. In that sense every true healing is divine, because God is the one who created those processes. We do not always understand why one person experiences immediate relief while another walks a longer road, and even the apostle Paul prayed repeatedly for a trial to be removed and learned that God had a different purpose in allowing it to remain. What we can hold to is that God is sovereign, He loves to heal, and His healing touches the whole person, physical, emotional and spiritual.

The hurt you describe is real. Words and mistreatment can wound as deeply as any physical injury, cutting into the innermost part of a person and leaving scars that replay in the mind. The prophet Isaiah said that the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows, and that word for griefs can also mean infirmities and sicknesses. When Jesus healed the sick and set people free from oppression, it was a sign that He truly bore those burdens for us. He has power over the body, over the mind, and over spiritual oppression, and He can command what torments a person to leave.

I join you in asking God to bring healing to those inner wounds and to renew the mind. May He quiet the repeating patterns of thought that hold people bound and replace them with His truth and peace. May He bring trustworthy people who will speak life and help them see their pain from a godly and hopeful perspective, not to minimize what happened but to point them to the One who can restore.

I also pray with you for freedom from oppression, torment and sleeplessness. God has promised that He gives sleep to His beloved, as Psalm 127 says, and He is able to calm troubled nights and grant rest. And as Joel 2:25 declares, He is able to restore the years that have been eaten away by loss and pain, redeeming what was broken and making it fruitful again. That restoration may come step by step, but it is real, and it often begins in the heart and mind before it is seen elsewhere.

Above all, the deepest thirst in us is spiritual, and it cannot be satisfied by trying to chase one emotional experience after another. Jesus invites those who thirst to come to Him and drink, and when we come to Him He meets us in our struggle and makes us whole from the inside out. May those you are praying for encounter Him afresh, know His presence in their pain, and be given strength to endure and be preserved through any struggles ahead.
