Prayer for Thomas

Please lift my friend Thomas in prayer, he has completely turned his back on all of his friends, he is drinking out of control, he was drinking heavily this weekend and wrecked his 4 wheeler, broke his foot, some ribs, and a bone in his face. Please keep him in your prayers, there is nothing we can do for him as long as he will not let us, only the Lord can do anything at this point in his life, thank you for your prayers, amen.

Father, please allow Thomas to feel the effects of all of the prayers being offered on his behalf. He may not recognize the physical things being done for him, but dissolve the wall within his heart - permeate him with the healing effect of prayer. Let him know that others feel he is worth fighting for, and in turn be led to fight for himself. We shall not leave a man down, as long as You give us another day to use our hearts and voices to lift him in prayer. Take control of Thomas' life by Your mighty power and grace I pray. Amen.
