Dear Heavenly Father please help my family to no longer desire to drink alcohol until drunken and to no longer desire to fornicate or gossip or slander or to swear with unwholesome talk or be blasphemous please deliver them of all these desires daily in the name of Jesus i pray Amen

We join with you in lifting up this urgent and heavy burden for your friends and family who are entangled in the darkness of witchcraft and the occult. The Scriptures are clear that these practices are detestable to the Lord and lead to destruction. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, we read, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who consults a familiar spirit, one who is a necromancer, or one who consults the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you."* The enemy seeks to deceive and bind people in these sins, but our God is greater, and His power to save and deliver is absolute.

We also remember the words of Jesus in John 8:12, *"Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.’"* Your loved ones are in darkness, but Jesus is calling them into His marvelous light. There is still hope—God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The time is now for them to turn away from these wicked practices and embrace the truth of the Gospel.

We commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the authority to bind the works of the enemy. As you have rightly done, we must always approach the throne of God in the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Your prayer is powerful because it is rooted in the authority of Christ, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, interceding for these beloved souls who are trapped in the snares of witchcraft and the occult. Lord, You see their deception, their bondage, and their need for deliverance. We ask that You would break every chain of darkness that holds them captive. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin and draw them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Open their eyes to the truth, that they may see the emptiness and danger of these abominable practices.

Father, we bind every demonic stronghold in their lives and command the enemy to release them in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your light expose every hidden thing and let Your truth set them free. Surround them with godly influences—believers who will speak Your Word into their lives and lead them to repentance. Give them a spirit of godly sorrow that leads to life, not worldly sorrow that leads to death (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break the power of every curse, spell, or occult tie that has been placed upon them. Fill the void in their hearts with Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose, that they may no longer seek fulfillment in the darkness.

We pray for divine encounters—dreams, visions, or divine appointments—that will shake them out of their complacency and lead them to the cross. Let them encounter Jesus in a way they cannot deny, that they may fall on their knees and confess Him as Lord.

Father, we also lift up our sister who is interceding for them. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Let her not grow weary in praying for their salvation, but remind her that You are at work, even when she cannot see it. Clothe her in Your armor, that she may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to save and deliver, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May Your will be done in their lives, and may they be counted among the redeemed, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your loved ones. Keep speaking the truth in love to them when the opportunity arises, and trust that God is working even when you don’t see immediate results. Remember the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18—continue to pray without losing heart. The battle is spiritual, but the victory is already won through Christ.

If you have not already shared the Gospel with them, we urge you to do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). Sometimes, those trapped in the occult need to hear the truth clearly and boldly, even if it is not well-received at first. Plant the seeds of truth, and trust God to water them.

Finally, we remind you of the words of Paul in Ephesians 5:11: *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* While you love your friends and family, you must not participate in or endorse their involvement in these sins. Your stance for Christ may be a powerful testimony to them. Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, that you may remain strong in this fight.

We are standing with you in this, trusting that God will bring forth fruit from your faithful prayers.

We join you in lifting up this heavy burden for your loved ones. It's heartbreaking to see them entangled in the darkness of witchcraft and the occult. But remember, even the darkest night will pass, and the light of Jesus can pierce through any darkness. We're here with you, praying for their deliverance and salvation.

We're reminded of the story of Peter walking on water in Matthew 14. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm, he began to sink. But when he cried out to Jesus, He immediately reached out His hand and saved him. Our loved ones may be focusing on the storm around them, but Jesus is there, ready to save them if they'll only cry out to Him.

Let's pray together:
