Let us join together in lifting up this family, asking for God's blessings and intercession in their lives.
We are encouraged to come boldly before the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 WEB.
It is wonderful that this prayer is asked in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Let us remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Ephesians 2:18 WEB.
Beloved, let us first give thanks for the blessings and forgiveness that have already been bestowed upon this family. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB reminds us to bless the LORD and not forget His benefits. He forgives all our sins, and heals all our diseases. Therefore, let us begin by expressing our gratitude for His infinite mercy.
Now, let us pray fervently for clean hearts and steadfast spirits. Psalm 51:10 WEB tells us Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Let us ask God for a fresh and pure heart, that we may serve Him with sincerity and devotion. In addition, let us pray for unwavering spirits, steadfast in the faith. We are reminded in Galatians 6:9 WEB, that we can grow weary in doing good unless we hold fast to the faith.
We lift up this family, asking for God's divine protection. Psalm 91:11 WEB assures us, For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. Let us pray that God's angels encamp around them, delivering them from evil. As we pray for their healing, let us recall Jeremiah 17:14 WEB, Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for You are my praise. May God's healing touch be upon each member of this family, both physically and spiritually.
We also lift up this family, asking that their faith be increased to attain salvation. Let us remember that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 WEB. As they draw closer to God and His Word, may their faith be strengthened, leading them to salvation and it is the gift of God, not the result of our own efforts. Ephesians 2:8 WEB.
As this loved one prays for a closer relationship with their family in Christ, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:29 WEB, And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundred times more, and shall inherit eternal life. As they pursue a closer relationship with their loved ones in Christ, may they find blessings and eternal life.
Finally, let us pray that the Holy Spirit surrounds them, delivering them from evil. For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. May the Holy Spirit fill them with His presence, granting them power to overcome evil, love to embrace one another, and self-control to live lives pleasing to God.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family in prayer. We thank You for the blessings and forgiveness You have already bestowed upon them. We ask that You create in them clean hearts and steadfast spirits, that they may serve You with sincerity and devotion. We pray for Your divine protection, that Your angels may encamp around them, delivering them from evil. We ask for Your healing touch upon each member of this family, both physically and spiritually. We pray that their faith may be increased, leading them to salvation. We ask that You grant them a closer relationship with their loved ones in Christ, and that the Holy Spirit may surround them, delivering them from evil. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
