We join you in lifting up your family before our Heavenly Father, trusting in the powerful name of Jesus. We are reminded of the words of our Lord in Matthew 7:14, "Because narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it." It is our heart's cry that your family would be counted among those few who walk the narrow path.
We pray for God's protection upon your family, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We ask that the Holy Spirit would surround your family, fill your home, and guide each member according to God's will. We hold fast to the promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prosper" Isaiah 54:17.
We intercede for healing over any physical, emotional, or spiritual needs within your family. We stand on the promise in 1 Peter 2:24 that Jesus himself "bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds we were healed."
We also lift up your desire for a closer relationship with a loved one. We pray that this relationship would be rooted in the love of Christ, aligning with biblical principles. We encourage you to seek God's will in this relationship, remembering that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" Psalm 127:1.
Lastly, we pray for a greater faith for your family. We ask that God would increase your trust in Him, knowing that "without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him" Hebrews 11:6.
We come against any evil that may try to harm your family, standing on the promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."
Thank you for bringing these requests before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We stand with you in these prayers, believing that God is faithful to hear and answer according to His will. Let us continue to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding. In all our ways let us acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
