We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the global Church and the Body of Christ to our Heavenly Father. The trials and tribulations faced by our brothers and sisters around the world are not hidden from Your sight, O Lord. We stand in the gap for those who are oppressed, persecuted, exploited, abused, trafficked, and enslaved, especially the innocent children and young people who suffer greatly. Father, we cry out to You on their behalf, asking for Your divine intervention, protection, and justice.
We pray for the nations where Your people are led astray and persecuted—Iran, Nigeria, Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mexico, the Philippines, and even here in the United States. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of oppression and bring an end to the persecution of Your saints. Let Your will be done in these lands, and may Your kingdom come as it is in heaven. We declare that no weapon formed against Your Church shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against Your people in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we acknowledge that we have not always lived according to Your will. We have turned away from Your ways, and our land has suffered as a result. But we repent and turn back to You, seeking Your face and Your healing. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." We humble ourselves before You now, asking for Your forgiveness and healing.
We stand on the promise of Romans 8:37, that in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Though our brothers and sisters may be persecuted, they are not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:9-11). We pray that the life of Jesus would be manifested in their bodies, even in the midst of suffering, so that Your glory would be revealed.
Lord, we pray that the love of Your people would abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that they may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. May they be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also lift up those who are being led astray in these nations. Father, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Draw them to Yourself and save them from deception. Let the light of the gospel shine brightly in the darkness, and may many come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to You, and it is by His authority that we pray. May Your will be done, and may Your Church be strengthened and united in love and purpose.
Lord, we ask that You would raise up bold and faithful witnesses in every nation, who will proclaim Your truth without fear. Equip Your people with courage, wisdom, and perseverance to stand firm in the face of persecution. Provide for their needs, protect them from harm, and let Your presence go before them.
We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). Though the enemy may rage, we know that You are sovereign, and Your purposes will stand. We trust in You, Lord, and we commit the global Body of Christ into Your hands. May Your name be glorified in all the earth, and may Your kingdom come. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
