Again, satan attempted to strike one of the members of this board. Before I go on, though, let me REALLY describe my request for prayer.
I'm asking that everyone who reads this message prays for me and every prayer warrior on this board to receive the gift of TRAVAILING PRAYER. What is the gift of travailing prayer, you might ask?
Put simply, it is God giving His grieving heart to you, sharing His grieving heart so that you can weep and wail over your own sins, the sins of your family, your nation, your world. Why is this desirable? Because a thorough examination of Scripture proves that THIS TYPE OF PRAYER IS LIFE-CHANGING AND EVEN WORLD-CHANGING. (Read the Book of Nehemiah and the account of Jesus in the garden in Gethsemane.) Travailing prayer is POWERFUL. So powerful that it empowered Our Lord and Saviour to go to the Cross and go through crucifixion in order to save all humanity...
If you would like more information on travailing prayer, I heartily urge you to go to YouTube and plug into the search engine the following words: travailing by Leonard Ravenhill. This is an 8-part series. I haven't seen it myself, BUT I've seen other videos on travailing prayer, especially by a lady whose YouTube moniker is candayo. I heartily advocate watching these as well, because they will give examples of travail in action, what it looks like.
I realize that some people might think I'm being a bit of a nag or preachy, BUT SERIOUSLY...I now KNOW travailing prayer is what this board needs. Why? ABSOLUTE, 100% CONFIRMATION LAST NIGHT, FOLKS: I WAS THREATENED.
When I began seriously praying to the LORD last night for the gift of travailing prayer, I got seriously verbally threatened by someone on the street, for NO REAL REASON AT ALL. Yes, I'm a security officer by profession, and yes, I was in uniform...but honestly, that was merely a pretext. Satan actually jumped into someone, took advantage of that man's hatred of authority and law enforcement, and used him to start threatening me. Yes, pray for this man...pray for his deliverance and salvation. But seriously, IMHO, I've already forgiven him (as much as I can), because I absolutely believe he didn't understand or realize what exactly he was doing, and what forces were using him.
Don't worry, I'm safe: I'm sound. BUT. Satan was so nervous last night that he actually used a man to threaten me JUST AS I WAS PRAYING FOR THE SPIRIT OF TRAVAIL ON THE WAY TO THE BUS STOP.
You see how nervous the Father of Lies really is?
Body of Christ, if there is ANYTHING I am prophesying to you, it is this: NOW IS THE TIME FOR ASKING FOR A HOLY SPIRIT OF TRAVAIL. It is truly difficult prayer, I admit that: BUT: if we faint not, if we learn to take up this cross of travailing prayer, WE WILL WIN.
We are so close to winning against satan right now it isn't even funny!
In these EndTimes, God needs warriors...REAL, DOWN IN THE GUTS WARRIORS. I'm not one yet, but I want to be. Silentangel, SinglemomV, and K-J and others are better warriors than me. BUT. God most CERTAINLY wants us to go to the deepest, most powerful spiritual warfare there is,
AND THAT IS TRAVAILING PRAYER.
Ask Jesus about how effective travailing was and is for Him...it worked in the Garden, and it works now as He intercedes for us...
