Prayer for Thanksgiving

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this day You have made. Thank You for my family and thank You for the breath in my lungs. I am so grateful for all that You have given to me and all that I have experienced in You! You are a good God! Your lovingkindness overwhelms my heart with peace. I pray over my marriage right now. I pray that You would continue to guide my husband and I, maturing us and transforming us to be more like You. I pray that we are able to talk to each other more gently and respond with grace. May Your power flow through us giving us self-control to be faithful and responsible. I also pray that we can experience more quality time together. I pray that we can escape for a date or a random outing of exploration. I pray that we laugh and love more. Fill our hearts with joy and help our attitudes be outing of exploration. I pray that You bend our hearts back together. AMEN

Heavenly Father,

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
