prayer for terminal illness

My husband Joseph Savio is 52 years old and a father of 9 he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer stage 4 in March. He has lost 50 pounds, cannot eat or drink anything by mouth and is in constant pain. THis chemo had to be stopped because it landed him in the hospital. This man loves the Lord and devotes his life to serving him. I know satan wants him out of the way because he wins too many souls. He is a loved man. We set up a website on himwww.caringbridge.org/visit/josephsavio with his story, a daily journal etc. It has not been up only 30 days and over 1500 people have visited. The guestbook entries bring tears to my eyes. Every single one of them mention the Lord in some way Please pray for a miracle because a miracle is the only way he will survive this cancer. There is no cure.

My grandfather accepted Jesus into his life while lying in the hospital. The next day they operated on his intestines for cancer. They removed 2/3 of his stomach and about six feet of intestines. The deeper they got the worse it became. They sewed him up, leaving the worst of the cancer in him, they could not remove it all. They told my grandmother to take him home and keep him as comfortable as she could, and that he was going to die. She made him comfortable for the next 30 years, and then he did die, living all that time in between serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Father, I know that You are a respecter of no man, and what You have done for one You will do for another. I pray for the healing of this man, that Your hand that is already upon his life will bring him the healing he needs. Lord, may this mans healing become a living testimony like so many before, pointing to Your grace, mercy, and Your riches in heaven. Father, I thank You for the healing of my grandfather, he was such an inspiration in my life, but the greatest thing he did for me was to point me in Your direction. Father, I ask that this man will point so many more in Your direction, and for them to see You in him. Thank You Jesus, and in Your Holy name I pray, Amen.
