Prayer for ### suffering cancer

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over ###’s life today, believing that You are able to restore his health completely.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon him. You said in Matthew 14:14, "Jesus went out, and he saw a great multitude. He had compassion on them and healed their sick." We trust in Your compassion and power to bring healing to his body. Strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually as he battles this illness. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they care for him.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in the name of Jesus. Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand firm against this cancer, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, ### is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and restoration over his body, trusting in Your perfect will.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our ultimate healing comes through faith in Jesus Christ. If you or your father have not yet placed your trust in Him as Savior and Lord, we encourage you to do so. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through His name that we have access to God’s healing power. If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior, we can guide you in that decision.
We continue to pray for ###’s complete healing, trusting that God’s plans for him are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). May he experience Your presence in a tangible way during this time, and may his faith grow stronger as he sees Your hand at work. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
