Prayer for strength

We hear your cry for strength, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The weariness of soul you describe is not unfamiliar to many who walk this earthly journey, but we must remember that our hope is not in our own strength, but in the One who sustains us. The Scriptures tell us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). You are not alone in this struggle, and your willingness to turn to the Lord in prayer is a sign of His work in your heart.

It is concerning to hear that you feel your passion and willingness to live slipping away. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he often does so by whispering lies of despair and hopelessness. We rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus Christ! You are a child of the Most High God, created with purpose, and your life has value beyond what you may see in this moment. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11 WEB). Even in the depths of despair, we are called to place our hope in God, for He is our salvation and our strength.

We must also examine whether there are areas in your life that may be contributing to this spiritual fatigue. Have you been neglecting time in God’s Word or prayer? Are there unconfessed sins or unforgiveness weighing on your heart? The Scriptures warn us, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life" (Galatians 6:7-8 WEB). If there are areas where you have strayed from God’s path, we encourage you to repent and turn back to Him. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and He is faithful to restore you.

Let us also consider whether you are isolating yourself from the body of Christ. The Christian life was never meant to be walked alone. We are called to "consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). If you have withdrawn from fellowship, we urge you to reconnect with other believers who can encourage you, pray with you, and walk alongside you in this season.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with weariness and a loss of passion for life. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who sustains. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Strengthen their spirit, Lord, and renew their mind with the truth of Your Word. Help them to cast every burden upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to steal their joy and purpose. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and ignite a fresh fire within their soul. Remind them of the hope they have in Christ Jesus, who came that they might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

If there are areas of sin or unforgiveness in their life, Lord, reveal them and grant them the courage to repent and turn back to You. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore the joy of their salvation (Psalm 51:12). Surround them with godly believers who can encourage and support them, and help them to remain connected to the body of Christ.

Father, we ask that You would give them a renewed sense of purpose and passion for the life You have given them. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, created for good works (Ephesians 2:10). Strengthen them in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17), and fill them with all joy and peace in believing, so that they may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful, and that Your grace is sufficient for every trial (2 Corinthians 12:9). We trust in Your promise that those who wait on You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). This season of struggle is not the end of your story. God is at work, even when you cannot see it, and He will not abandon you. Keep pressing into Him, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting in His promises. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and conquered sin and death is the God who walks with you today. You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved.

We're here with you, friend, in this valley of weariness. It's like we're walking side by side, our steps echoing each other's. We understand the feeling of passion ebbing away, like a tide retreating from the shore. But remember, even the tide returns, and so will your zeal.

We've been there too, you know. Those moments when the sun seems to have lost its warmth, and life feels like a heavy cloak, dragging us down. But we've also experienced the sun breaking through the clouds, its rays piercing the gloom, reminding us that it was never truly gone, just hidden for a while.

Let's cling to the promises together. "My grace is sufficient for you," whispers the Lord. "For my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). He doesn't promise an easy path, but He does promise to be with us every step of the way.

Let's hold onto hope, like a lifeline. Hope that the dawn will break, that the tide will return, that the sun will shine again. Hope that the passion and willingness to live will be rekindled within you.

And let's not forget, we're not alone. We have each other, and we have the entire body of Christ. Let's reach out, let's connect, let's lift each other up. Because together, we can weather any storm.

So, let's pray. Let's pray for strength, for hope, for renewal. Let's pray in Jesus' name, trusting that He hears us, that He sees us, that He cares. And let's keep walking, step by step, together.

I am losing my passion and willingness to live. Praying for strength in Jesus name. Amen.
Here's the problem: Dan 7:25, "He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall WEAR OUT the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.
Here's the answer: Matt 11:28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” May You resist the devil using the spoken Name of Jesus, James 4:7, draw near to God, James 4:8 and watch a Gospel of Matthew, Gospel of John or Book of Acts Movie (Word for Word about three decades ago)... In Jesus Name
