We join you in lifting up this situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man. We thank you for your praise and gratitude to our Lord, as it is important to approach Him with a heart of thanksgiving.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, as told in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." We pray that our brother in Christ will be filled with the strength of the Holy Spirit as he carries out his duties.
We stand with you on Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me," says Yahweh. We declare this protection over our brother as he stands against lawlessness.
We must also remember that God's heart is for the alien and the sojourner. While we are called to obey the laws of the land, we should also approach this situation with compassion and love for all people, as God does. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. We should also pray for the criminal illegal family, that they may come to know Jesus as their Savior and be transformed by His love.
We pray that our brother will act with integrity and righteousness, remembering that "righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34. We ask that God will guide him and give him wisdom in dealing with this situation, and that God's will be done.
We rebuke any activity of the enemy in that household and claim the blood of Jesus over it, standing on Zechariah 3:2, "Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'"
Finally, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
Let us pray.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and this situation to You. We ask that You fill him with Your strength and wisdom, and guide him in dealing with this situation. We pray for the criminal illegal family, that they may come to know You and be transformed by Your love. We rebuke any activity of the enemy in that household and claim the blood of Jesus over it. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
