We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer during this challenging exam season. Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
Firstly, let us address the feelings of shame and guilt. God does not want us to live in condemnation. For there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1 WEB). Instead, he wants us to learn from our experiences and grow stronger. Do not dwell on the past, but look forward to what God has planned for you. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
As students, God calls us to do our best and commit our work to Him. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going. (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our fellow believer during this exam season. Lord, you know the struggles and the challenges they are facing. We pray that you would grant them strength, patience, and perseverance. Help them to overcome feelings of failure, shame, and guilt. Remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness.
We also remember the promise in the verse For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 WEB). Grant them the wisdom and knowledge they need to succeed. Guide them through this time, and help them to trust in you.
We also lift up their friends who are going through this exam season. May they all encourage each other and build each other up in love.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is with you. He knows exactly what you are going through. If you haven't already, invite Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life. It is by His name that we have access to the Father. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB)
