Prayer For Strength And Thankfulness

please pray for me as i focus on God's word that i will keep my eyes on Him instead of the situation. it is so hard to watch your child suffering with an addiction. i have been praying for my son, jonathan for 4 years since i found out about his alcoholic problem and sometimes the emotional rides can just wear you down. God may the power of your Holy Spirit give me the strength i need to get through this most difficult time in my life. the prayers of a righteous man is powerful. please pray that God would convict jonathan of this bondage he is in and he would submit to God's will in his life. i also want to praise God for connecting me with a christian today that gave me encouragement.
