The last time I posted I requested prayers for my son and his new wife. Please continue to pray for them. The devil certainly has his hands in their life. I am so worried about my son. I'm beside myself. He is constantly on my mind, day and night. He is such a changed person. I can't believe it is even him. I don't know if he has gotten involved in drugs or is just drinking.
They got married on Sept 14 and were to go on their honeymoon ifor 2 weeks n Hawaii. Well it is now Oct 8 and they are still not back. Three days before his wedding he was forced to close his business because he could not financially make it. He will have to file for bankruptcy. Neither of them have a job so I don't know how they can afford to stay in Hawaii. They were to come back after 2 weeks and he called and said they were going to stay a few more days. The day before they were to come home he called and said they had a big fight and she changed her plane reservations until this coming Friday and he couldn't leave her there by herself.
I don't know what his problem is. He was married before and his first wife was killed in car accident when they were only married 1 1/2 years. She was such a beautiful, christian women. I don't know if he has ever really dealt with her death. He is acting so out of character. He is 32 years and has worked since he was 14. He has never been without a job. He worked full time and attended college full time. He has always been a very mature responsible person. Now he is acting so inmature. This girl has a hold on him. I think she is just waiting for him to use up all his money then she will be gone. My heart just breaks. He has everything going for him and he is acting this way.
Please pray that he gets his life back in order and maybe she can too.
She has 2 small children that are staying with her parents while they are gone. She hasn't seen them in almost a month. She has been in trouble all her life. I'm not sure what he sees in her. He always told me he had the best with his first wife and wouldn't settle for less. He lives in another state so I'm not there to see what goes on, but his friends tried to talk him out of getting married.
I'm sorry for rambling on but I need to talk about this. Please pray for me that I can be patient an let God do his work. I know He knows what's best.
