We come before you with hearts full of gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling on Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice in that.
Yet, we must lovingly address something in your prayer that stands out. You referred to Jesus as "Deaf Lord Jesus." Our Lord is not deaf—He hears every cry of His children! The Bible assures us, *"He who planted the ear, doesn’t he hear? He who formed the eye, doesn’t he see?"* (Psalm 94:9, WEB). Jesus is the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep, and His ears are always attentive to their voices. *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27, WEB). Let this truth bring you comfort: your Savior hears you, sees you, and is actively working on your behalf, even when the answers seem delayed or unseen.
Now, let us lift your request for wisdom, clarity, and peace in your workplace. The challenges you face are not hidden from the Lord, and He has promised to provide all you need to navigate them. *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). He does not call you to rely on your own strength but to lean entirely on Him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We also encourage you to remember that your work is not just a means of provision but an opportunity to glorify God. Whatever you do, *"do it heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Even in difficult moments, your attitude and diligence can be a powerful testimony to those around you. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16, WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this beloved child of Yours who has come before You in faith, seeking Your face. Lord, we ask that You open their eyes to the truth that You are not distant or unaware—You are near, and You hear every word they speak. Forgive any doubt or misunderstanding, and fill them with the assurance of Your presence.
We lift up their workplace to You, Lord. You are the God of all wisdom, and we ask that You pour out discernment, clarity, and creativity upon them as they face each task. When the challenges seem overwhelming, remind them that Your strength is made perfect in their weakness. *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray that You would go before them, making their paths straight. Softening the hearts of those they interact with, and giving them favor as they work with integrity and excellence. May their labor not be in vain but bring glory to Your name. If there are any areas where they need to grow—whether in patience, humility, or trust—we ask that You would convict and guide them by Your Spirit.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would remind them daily that their identity is not found in their work but in You. They are Your beloved, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in the good works You have prepared for them. May they rest in that truth and find joy in serving You, no matter the circumstances.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
