We come before the Lord with hearts that seek His will above all else, remembering that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, created to glorify God in every way. The request for prolonged effects of a cosmetic procedure like Botox leads us to reflect on where our true confidence and worth should lie. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Peter 3:3-4, *"Don’t let your beauty be just outward adorning—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on fine clothing—but in the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight."* Our focus should not be on temporary outward appearances but on cultivating a heart that honors Christ, for that is what holds eternal value.
It is also important to address that while the request mentions *"in your heavenly name,"* we must clarify that there is only one name by which we are saved and through which we approach the Father—Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If our prayers are not aligned with the authority of Jesus, they lack the foundation of true faith. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, for He alone is the source of all wisdom, strength, and true transformation—both inwardly and outwardly.

Lord, we confess that it is easy to become preoccupied with outward appearances, but we pray for a renewed focus on the beauty that comes from a life surrendered to You. Help us to remember that our bodies are Your temple, and may we honor You in how we care for them—whether in health, appearance, or attitude.
We ask that You redirect any anxiety or concern about physical appearance toward a deeper trust in Your provision and design. If there is a desire for confidence or acceptance, may it be rooted in the truth of Your love for us, not in temporary solutions. Teach us to find our worth in Christ alone, who calls us His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).
Father, we also pray for wisdom regarding medical or cosmetic choices. Let our prayers always be aligned with Your will, offered in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are heard.
