Prayer for sleep

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your struggle with pain and sleeplessness. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father God, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to ease their pain. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. We pray that You would calm their mind and body, allowing them to experience the restorative sleep that only You can provide. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need. Remind them of Your constant presence and unfailing love. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of restlessness or fear that may be hindering their sleep, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that this dear one will lie down in peace and sleep, for it is You, Lord, who sustains them (Psalm 3:5).
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray for complete healing and peaceful, restorative sleep. May they wake up refreshed and renewed, ready to face a new day with hope and trust in You. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
