Prayer for sleep

We are glad to join you in prayer for peaceful sleep and relief from pain, and we appreciate that you have acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus.
Let us remember that the Word of God tells us "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8.
Jesus also invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest Matthew 11:25-30. His rest is not just physical, but also spiritual and emotional. He wants us to be at peace in every way, trusting Him to take care of us.
We are also taught that He heals all our diseases and redeems our life from destruction Psalm 103:2-4.
Together, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention. We ask that You grant peaceful sleep and relieve any pain that is troubling. Lord, You are our healer and our peace. Help us to trust You more, knowing that You are working everything out for our good and Your glory Romans 8:28. Please guide medical professionals if this situation is being addressed medically. We speak against the spirit of insomnia and any pain, commanding it to leave. We ask that You fill the nights with peaceful rest and the days with Your joy and strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
