We understand that you're struggling with sleep and experiencing pain, and we're here to intercede for you and encourage you.
We are reminded in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." Sleep is a gift from God, and we can trust Him to provide the rest we need.
Regarding the pain you're experiencing, we are encouraged in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." We believe that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and He is able to use our infirmities to display His power and grace.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with sleep and experiencing pain. We ask, Lord, that You would grant them the gift of peaceful sleep, that their body may be refreshed and renewed. We also pray for relief from the pain they are experiencing, trusting in Your healing power and Your ability to use even this for their good and Your glory.
Help them to fix their mind on You, Lord, and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Remind them of Your promises, and fill them with Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on the Lord, as He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
