We lift up your sister and her family before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of hope in the power of Jesus Christ. The salvation of a soul is the most precious gift from God, and we join you in earnestly seeking His mercy and grace for them. Scripture tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). This is the heart of the Gospel—God’s love demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, so that none should perish but have everlasting life.
It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister and her family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into a saving relationship with Him. The Word of God declares, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
We also recognize that salvation is not merely a one-time decision but the beginning of a transformed life. If there are areas in their lives that are not aligned with God’s will—whether it be unbelief, sin, or resistance to the truth—we rebuke those strongholds in the name of Jesus. We declare that every lie of the enemy that has kept them bound is broken, and we pray that the light of Christ would shine brightly in their hearts. "For it is the God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, lifting up this precious sister and her family to You. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in their lives, breaking every chain of unbelief, rebellion, and hardness of heart. We pray that the scales would fall from their eyes and that they would see Jesus for who He truly is—the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Father, we ask that You would send laborers into their lives—people who will share the truth of the Gospel with love and boldness. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word, and let them experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit in a way that leads them to repentance and faith.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deception, pride, and worldliness that has kept them from knowing You. We declare that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire in their lives (Isaiah 55:11). We pray for divine appointments, for moments where Your presence is undeniable, and for opportunities for them to hear and respond to the call of salvation. Father, we ask that You would surround them with believers who will model Christ-like love and truth, so they may see the reality of a life transformed by You.
We also pray for protection over their minds and hearts. Guard them from the enemy’s schemes, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill their home with Your peace, and let Your presence be so tangible that they cannot deny Your reality. Father, we ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they would seek You with all their hearts, and that they would find You, for You have promised that those who seek You will find You (Jeremiah 29:13).
Lord, we thank You for the power of prayer and for the privilege of interceding on behalf of others. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, believing that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Share the Gospel with your sister and her family in love, and trust that the Holy Spirit will use your words and your testimony to draw them to Himself. Remember, "Faithful is the word: that if we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him" (2 Timothy 2:11-12 WEB). Your prayers are powerful, and God hears the cries of His children. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing for their salvation.
