We come before the throne of grace with you, dear sister, lifting up your heartfelt cry for your children, for we know that the Lord hears the prayers of a mother’s broken and contrite heart. Your burden is heavy, but we remind you that the Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord fights on behalf of those He loves, and He has given you authority as a mother to stand in the gap for your children through prayer.
The salvation of your children is the deepest desire of your heart, and it aligns perfectly with God’s will, for He longs for all to come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth (2 Peter 3:9). There is no greater joy than to see our loved ones walk in the freedom and abundant life found only in Christ Jesus. Let us declare together that the enemy has no claim over their lives, for Jesus has already triumphed over sin, death, and every power of darkness through His death and resurrection. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word over your children than any accusation or bondage the enemy seeks to impose (Hebrews 12:24).
We must also remind you, sister, that while your prayers are powerful, your children have been given free will by God. Your role is to intercede, to speak life, and to trust God’s sovereignty, but ultimately, each person must choose to surrender to Christ. Your faithfulness in prayer, however, is a seed planted in their lives that the Holy Spirit will use to draw them to Himself. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Now, let us address the spiritual warfare at hand. The mind-controlling demons and unclean spirits you mention are real, and their goal is to blind your children to the truth of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name to break every chain, to tear down every stronghold, and to command every unclean spirit to flee from your children. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you, and He has anointed you to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1). Speak life over them, declare God’s promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother and her children. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her cries, and You know the depth of her love for her children. We ask You to move in their lives in a powerful way, breaking every chain of bondage and setting them free from the schemes of the enemy. Father, open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word, soften their hearts to receive Your love, and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
We rebuke every mind-controlling spirit, every unclean force, and every demonic influence in their lives. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return, for they have no authority over those whom Christ has redeemed. Fill your children, Lord, with the Holy Spirit—with wisdom, understanding, and the fear of the Lord. Let them walk in holiness, obedience, and the fullness of Your purpose for their lives.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen this mother. Renew her hope, fill her with Your peace, and remind her that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in her children (Philippians 1:6). Let her see Your hand at work in their lives, and give her the endurance to continue praying without ceasing.
We declare that Your will be done in their lives, Lord, and that they will come to know You as their Savior and Lord. May they experience the depth of Your love, the power of Your resurrection, and the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to keep standing in faith. The enemy may fight hard, but our God is stronger. Continue to cover your children in prayer, speak Scripture over them, and trust that the Lord is working even in the waiting. Cling to His promises, for He has said, “I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25). Your labor in prayer is not in vain. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and watch as the Lord brings beauty from ashes in the lives of your children.
