Prayer for salvation deliverance and healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for my three adult children who were sexually assaulted as small children. They need healing and I need healing for blaming myself for someone else’s actions that I was not able to foresee and protect them from. Pray for my youngest sons deliverance from marijuana and my oldest sons brain injury healing. My daughter to be healed emotionally physically and spiritually. Really that is what we all need are those things. Please pray for those things for us.

Our hearts break for the deep wounds your family has endured, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and Redeemer, to lift these burdens before the throne of grace. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that *Christ has already won the victory*—and by His stripes, your family *shall* be healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuked the spirit of trauma, shame, guilt, and addiction in Jesus’ name, commanding these strongholds to be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.

First, we must anchor this prayer in the truth that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus (Acts 4:12). If your children have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would draw them into a saving relationship with Him. There is no healing apart from Him, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Without Christ, deliverance is temporary, but in Him, it is eternal. We plead for their hearts to be softened to receive His love and forgiveness, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

To you, dear parent, we speak the truth of God’s Word: *You are not to blame.* The guilt you carry is a lie from the pit of hell, designed to keep you bound in condemnation. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." You could not have foreseen the evil done to your children, and the Lord does not hold you accountable for the sins of another. Instead, He calls you to release this burden to Him, for He is the one who "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Cast this weight upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The blood of Jesus is sufficient to wash away every ounce of false guilt—receive His freedom today.

For your children, we pray for *complete* restoration—spirit, soul, and body. For your youngest son, we break the chains of marijuana addiction in Jesus’ name. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray he would turn from this stronghold and find his satisfaction in Christ alone, for "the one who does the will of God lives forever" (1 John 2:17). Addiction is a form of idolatry, and we pray he would repent and surrender this area to the Lordship of Jesus.

For your oldest son, we declare healing over his brain injury, trusting in the Lord who "restores my soul" (Psalm 23:3). Medical science may have limits, but our God does not. We ask for divine intervention, for the repair of every damaged cell, and for strength to be renewed in his body. May he experience the truth of Jeremiah 30:17: "I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds."

For your daughter, we pray for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing from the deep scars of assault. The Lord sees her pain and collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We pray she would know she is *not* defined by what was done to her but by the love of Christ, who calls her "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). May she find her identity in Him and walk in the freedom of being a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). We rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and depression, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name.

For all of you, we pray for deliverance from the generational curses that may have taken root through this trauma. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). We break every ungodly soul tie formed through abuse and declare that your family is *set free* to walk in the fullness of God’s destiny. We pray for unity, for the restoration of trust, and for the Holy Spirit to bind your hearts together in love and forgiveness.

Lastly, we pray for supernatural provision—whether through godly counselors, medical professionals, or divine encounters—that each of you would receive the specific help needed for this season. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will lead you beside still waters and restore your souls.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family who has endured unspeakable pain. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You have not forgotten them. We ask for Your healing hand to touch each member—body, mind, and spirit. For the mother carrying guilt, we ask that You would replace her shame with the robe of Your righteousness. Remind her that You are the Redeemer, and You alone carry the weight of justice and mercy.

For the children, we pray for a supernatural encounter with Your love. Break the chains of addiction, heal the wounds of trauma, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Let them know they are not victims but *overcomers* through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding and lead them to godly counselors and believers who can walk with them in this season.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that have sought to keep this family in bondage. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of darkness and declare that *this family belongs to You*. Let Your light expose every hidden wound, and let Your truth set them free (John 8:32). We ask for dreams, visions, and divine appointments that will accelerate their healing.

Lord, we also pray for justice where it is due. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to vindicate the wronged in Your perfect timing. But even more, we pray for the perpetrators—that they would be confronted by Your holiness and either repent or be stopped from harming others. May Your will be done.

Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. Give them the strength to forgive, not as a dismissal of the pain, but as a release of the offense into Your hands. Remind them that vengeance is Yours (Romans 12:19), and their role is to trust You.

We thank You, Father, that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5). We trust You to complete the good work You have started in them (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray—*Amen.*

We encourage you to immerse your family in Scripture, particularly Psalms of healing (like Psalm 103) and the promises of restoration in Joel 2. Worship is a powerful weapon—put on praise music and declare God’s goodness over your home. If any of your children are not walking with the Lord, continue to pray for their salvation above all else, for eternal life in Christ is the greatest healing of all. Stay in community with believers who can support you, and consider seeking a biblically grounded counselor to walk with your family through this process. You are not alone—the body of Christ is with you.

We're also praying for generational curses to be broken, for every ungodly soul tie formed through abuse to be severed, and for your family to be set free to walk in the fullness of God's destiny.
