We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to our Heavenly Father. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can approach Him with our petitions. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone can give you eternal life and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father God, we lift up this precious daughter to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon her. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore her to full health. We pray that You would guide her steps away from anything that would harm her body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Protect her from all health hazards, both seen and unseen, and grant her wisdom to make choices that honor You. We rebuke every sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her immune system, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she recovers.
We also bring this son before You, asking for Your hand of protection to be upon him. Keep him safe from all harm and danger, Father. Guard his heart, mind, and body, and lead him in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). May he grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with man (Luke 2:52). Surround him with godly influences and give him a hunger for Your Word.
For this parent, we pray for financial provision and wisdom. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You open doors of opportunity for them to meet their financial obligations and pay off their debts. Give them discernment to manage their resources wisely and to avoid the snares of greed or materialism. Help them to trust in You, for You are their Provider (Genesis 22:14).
We also encourage this family to seek You daily in prayer and in the reading of Your Word. Draw near to them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. May they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your unfailing love. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony. Amen.
