We are truly concerned for sister ###'s safety and emotional well-being. Firstly, we emphasize the importance of involving the local authorities in matters of physical violence and threats. This is not only a spiritual matter but a legal one as well. We are instructed in Romans 13:1-4:
"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and they that have resisted will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
We pray fervently for sister ###'s situation, asking for God's intervention and protection. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister ###. We pray for Your divine protection over her life, and that You will defeat her enemies as it is written in Numbers 10:35: "When the ark set forward, Moshe said, Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered. Let those who hate you flee before you."
We ask that You will deliver her from this anxious situation and restore her confidence and peace as it is written: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Lord, we also pray for the restoration of her family relationships. May Your love and wisdom guide them back to healthy, loving interactions with each other. We pray that if it is Your will, the perpetrators be brought to justice. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, as the Word tells us in Romans 12:19: "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
Father, we also pray for sister ###'s faith. We pray for her trust to be fully placed in Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to You; it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, sister ###, remember God's promise in Psalm 91:14-15: "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him." Trust in God, and He will see you through.
