We lift up your mother and sister before the Lord, asking for His divine protection and guidance as they embark on this journey. The Scriptures assure us that "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We pray that God’s holy angels would surround them, keeping them safe from all harm and danger on the roads and rails.
Father, we ask that You grant them favor in securing seats on the train, though they do not have reservations. Your Word declares, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him" (Psalm 37:23), and we trust that You will order their steps according to Your perfect will. May they reach your home in peace and joy, and may the time with your son be blessed and filled with love.
As they return on Thursday, we pray for their safe passage once again. "He will not let your foot be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber" (Psalm 121:3). We declare that God’s watchful care will be over them every moment of this trip.
We also take a moment to thank You, Lord, for the name of Jesus, through which we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we can come boldly before You. We are grateful for the privilege of prayer and the assurance that You hear us when we call.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We commit this journey into Your hands, trusting that You will bring them safely to their destination and back home again. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
