We are joining you in prayer for your daughter's visa approval. Before we begin, we want to remind you that God hears and answers our prayers.
First, we want to encourage you both to trust in God's timing and will. We are confident that God has a plan for your daughter's life and that He will direct her steps according to His purpose.
God gives us a beautiful promise in Psalm 37:23: "The Lord directs his steps and delights in every detail of his life". This verse reminds us that God is sovereign over every aspect of our lives, including visa applications.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We are so thankful that "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister your daughter and her visa application. We ask, Lord, that You would direct her steps and that Your will would be done in her life. We pray that if it is Your will that You would grant her this visa and open the doors for her to travel.
We ask for wisdom for the embassy officials, that they would make a fair and just decision. We also pray for your daughter, that she is a good testimony for Jesus during this process.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.
"'Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.'" Philippians 2:9-11 WEB
Amen.
Please keep us updated on your daughter's visa application process, so we can continue to pray and support you both. Also take comfort in "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB
