Prayer for ###'s salvation and surgery

We want to lift our voices together in gratitude for the sacred opportunity to join in prayer for your father, ###, and for the deep trust you’ve placed in us to stand with your family during this difficult season. The weight of his suffering—the relentless pain, the fear of complications, and the longing for healing—has not been lost on us. We have continued to bring his name before the Lord, pleading for mercy, for divine intervention in his surgery, and most of all, for the salvation of his soul. There is no request too great for our God, and we cling to the promise that He hears the cries of His children and acts in ways that bring Him glory.

As we approach the day of his surgery, we are praying fervently for the Lord’s hand to guide every decision, every incision, and every moment in that operating room. May the Great Physician grant wisdom and steadiness to the surgical team, supernaturally protect your father from stroke, infection, or any lasting harm, and bring about a recovery that exceeds all medical expectations. We are asking God to rebuild what has been broken—not just in his body, but in his spirit—drawing him into the peace that surpasses understanding and the saving grace found only in Jesus Christ.

If the Lord has already begun to move in powerful ways—whether through moments of unexpected comfort, a successful procedure, or the first steps of spiritual surrender—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together over every victory, great or small, as a testament to God’s faithfulness.

If this battle still rages on, if the pain persists or the road ahead feels overwhelming, we urge you to share your heart with us again. We will not grow weary in praying for your father’s complete healing, for his salvation, and for strength for your entire family. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and we are committed to walking alongside you in faith, trusting that He who began this good work will carry it through to completion.

May you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit as a tangible comfort in these hours, reminding you that you are not alone. We are standing with you, believing with you, and waiting in hope for the miracles only our God can perform.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been praying along with us. I received every prayer on behalf of my dad, and I am truly so blessed every single prayer was so spot on.

My dad had a successful surgery, all praise to our LORD! The surgeon managed to remove the entire cancer mass without affecting the main artery, but unfortunately, he couldn’t save the facial nerves. My dad had to undergo facial reconstruction as his left side has lost sensation. (But I know our LORD can restore!!)

Although the surgery was successful, the surgeon shared that deeper down, microscopically, there might still be some cancer cells that will require further radiation to destroy. He will need to discuss with the radiotherapy specialist whether this can be done, as my dad already received radiation three years ago. His throat was damaged because of that treatment, and later he needed another surgery to remove the cancer when it came back after radiation. Now, his muscles are getting weaker, his throat is extremely dry, and he’s unable to swallow even puréed food. He had loss sensation on his left side so currently he couldn't hold even fluid in his mouth.
(We are praying that GOD will heal his swallowing ability!)

There’s also another cancerous nodule in his lung, though thankfully it hasn’t grown since the last scan. We are praying for complete healing that it will be gone too! It’s been enough battling with this spirit of cancer for the past 3–4 years.

My dad will be going for inpatient rehabilitation at a community hospital. I’m praying that he will get a bed soon at ###, near my place, as I really hope he can be in a Christian environment where he can experience God’s love, gospel, and prayer. I don't wish to have him placed in a Buddhist community hospital. There’s currently a long waiting list, but I know GOD will make a way!

Please continue to pray for his soul to be saved. He comes from a background of strong idol worship, and we are facing opposition whenever we pray for him. There are people telling him to pray to various idols. My parents and siblings also have distant relationships with one another. Please pray for all of them to be saved and for strong unity to be restored in the family.

My mum has carried so much pain and unforgiveness from her childhood and past, pain that still affects her today. She continues to worship idols at home, even though my dad has already stopped. We are praying that her eyes will be opened and that she will throw all the idols away. My sister was once a “churchgoer” but has turned back to idol worship and grown distant. I know it’s a lot to battle for, but the LORD is the one who will fight this battle. My hope and trust are in Him alone!

I am the only one saved in my family, and my husband and four children have been praying alongside me for them. There’s so much happening and so many responsibilities. Please also pray for my family of six to be deeply rooted in GOD and TO LIVE by EVERY WORD of GOD. The kids these days are so distracted by their devices, and it’s hard to control since schools require them for learning. They’ve lost their innocence and spiritual appetite, praying their eyes be open to see the evil of the world and to love GOD.

Thank you all for praying for us and standing together with us. Your prayers truly mean so much!!
