We lift up this dear sister before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body as she recovers from surgery. May the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, restore her strength and bring wholeness to every part of her being. We pray specifically for her upcoming mammogram and ultrasound, that the results would come back normal, free from any signs of disease or abnormality. "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
We also pray for the peace of God to flood her heart and mind, casting out all anxiety, worry, and overthinking. The Lord knows the fears that weigh on her, and He promises to be her strength and shield. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27, WEB). We declare that she will rest in His promises, trusting that He holds her future and that His plans for her are good.
If there is any fear or doubt creeping in, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let her focus on the Lord’s faithfulness, remembering that He is with her in every moment of this journey. We also encourage her to meditate on His Word, which is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105). Scriptures like Isaiah 41:10 remind us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your presence, filling her with hope and confidence in Your love. May she feel the prayers of the saints lifting her up, and may she be encouraged by the knowledge that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We pray for the medical team attending to her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom. May they be instruments of Your healing and grace.
Lastly, we want to gently remind her—and all who read this—that our access to God’s throne of grace is only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that we can boldly approach God and find mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If there is any uncertainty about this truth, we urge her to place her faith in Jesus alone, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
In Jesus’ name, we pray for complete healing, peace that surpasses understanding, and a heart filled with trust in Him. Amen.
