We are joining with you in prayer for your husband's job search, asking God to guide and bless him in this process. We pray that God will provide him with a job that not only meets your family's financial needs but also allows your husband to use his gifts and talents to bring glory to God.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this husband's job search. We ask that You would guide him to the right job, one that will provide for his family and use the gifts and talents You have given him. We pray that You would open doors that no one can shut and give him favor in the eyes of potential employers. We also pray for his health, that You would strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually during this time. We ask for wisdom in discerning your will and peace from allowing you to lead and guide the job search.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage your husband to trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. We ask God to give him the wisdom that he needs during this process.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
We also remind you both to trust in God's timing and provision. God has a plan and a purpose for this season, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB
Lastly, we encourage your husband to be diligent in his job search, remembering that God helps those who help themselves. He should continue to put forth effort, trusting that God is working behind the scenes on his behalf.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB
