We lift up your dear mother to the Lord, our Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We know that physical pain can be overwhelming, and our hearts ache with yours as you witness her suffering. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that God is near to your mother in her pain and will bring her comfort and healing.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask You to touch your daughter with Your healing hand. Lord, we rebuke the pain and swelling in her head. We command it to subside in the name of Jesus, for Your word declares in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We exercise this authority over sickness and pain, declaring it has no place in her body.
We pray for immediate relief from the pain, Lord. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You guide the hands of any medical professionals who may be involved in her care, giving them wisdom and discernment. Protect her from any further complications or infections, and grant her a full and speedy recovery.
In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that as we pray, Your healing power is at work in her body.
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Continue to seek the Lord for your mother’s healing, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the assurance that You hear our prayers and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, and we declare that Your will be done in this situation. Strengthen your faith and hers, Lord, and let her testimony be a testament to Your healing power and grace.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
