We lift up your mother’s health before the Lord with deep compassion and urgency, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your love and concern for her are evident, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in God’s power to restore her strength and bring complete healing.
Your mother has already endured much—surgery, infection, and now swelling and edema in her leg. These trials can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded in Scripture that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He knows her pain, and He is able to bring healing beyond what doctors can do. We pray that the Lord would intervene supernaturally, removing every trace of infection, reducing the swelling, and restoring her body to full health. May He grant wisdom to the medical team attending to her, guiding their hands and decisions so that further invasive procedures are unnecessary.
We also pray for your peace and strength during this time. Anxiety and fear can easily take root when loved ones suffer, but we are commanded to cast all our cares upon the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in Him, even when the situation seems uncertain. He is faithful, and His plans for your mother are good—plans to give her a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us also take this moment to remind you of the power of praying in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is through His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through believing in Him—confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and the assurance of eternal life.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother who is suffering. Lord, You see her pain, her swelling, and the infection that plagues her body. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her, restoring her legs, removing every trace of sickness, and strengthening her body. Let her recovery be swift and complete, so that she may rise up in health and testify to Your goodness. Grant her doctors wisdom and skill, and let no further surgery be necessary. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also lift up her child, who is carrying this burden with a heavy heart. Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are sovereign over every circumstance, and that You hold their mother in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified through this trial, and may this family draw closer to You in faith and dependence.
